Course Description

Physics 150 is the second semester of a two semester, algebra based introductory physics course. In this course, you will be introduced to some core topics in physics - electricity and magnetism, light and optics, and a few ideas from quantum mechanics and nuclear/particle physics. As with the College physics 140, you will learn how to use critical thinking combined with mathematics to describe simple physical processes and develop basic problem solving skills.

Prerequisites

PHYS 140 (Must attain a grade of C- or higher).

Monday, Wednesday, and Friday: 10:10 – 11:00 am, in HHS 1301

M/W – 11:10 am – 1:10 pm
