Login Problems with LON-CAPA
I get "Username and/or password could not be authenticated"

There are several reasons this could occur, the most common is a capital letter in the username. USERNAMES (EID) MUST BE IN LOWERCASE. If you are able to log into MyMadison, Canvas, etc. Try logging in again and make sure your username is in all lower-case.

If you have made sure your username is entirely in lower-case and you are still unable to log in, try to log into MyMadison. If that is also unsuccessful, contact the JMU Helpdesk (540-568-3555) to request a password reset.
